Fertility at 40
Many women working their way up the corporate ladder have put off childbearing until later, only to find that fertility at 40 might be a challenge. I will boldly say that I believe, though it may take a little extra work and a little tweaking, fertility at 40 need not be an unreachable goal.
As a mother of 5, I became pregnant with my 5th child at the age of 40. I knew that my fertility was changing and that fertility at 40 was going to look different than it did with my first child at 30. Signs of the perimenopausal years were beginning to rear their ugly heads, but I studied up and made my body ready for the challenge; should I be blessed with another?
